Acu-Meditation: Opening the 'Spirit Gate'
Time & Location
About The Event
"This combined practice has the power to deepen the meditative state and connect your heart to the cosmos" - Len Bennett
Acu-meditation involves the ancient arts of acupuncture and meditation to create a conscious connection to a higher state of awareness.
Needles are inserted into the body’s meridians prior and/or during meditation to help balance the bodies natural flow of energy, harmonising mind, body and spirit.
Particular emphasis in this session is given to 'shenmen' - or the 'spirit gate' - a point that is believed to open your connection to the universe via your heart channel, as well as improving health, decreasing stress and boosting energy.
The Fifth Direction now hosts monthly acu-meditation sessions with registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine and acupuncturist, Len Bennett. With 18 years experience practicing internal martial arts and a life-long fascination with theosophy, Len provides the opportunity for deep self-discovery in every session.
Each session is limited to just 12 seats.
Date: Monday, August 13
