The Five Tibetan Rites

Also known as the “The Five Rites of Rejuvenation”.

Seems to have first made it appearance in the west through the book Kelder, Peter: The Eye of Revelation. The New Era Press, Burbank, CA (1939).

This recounts the story of a retired army colonel who when stationed in India near Tibet repeatedly heard rumors of Tibetan lamas who knew the secrets of the ‘Fountain of Youth’ As he got older he decided to go back to India and find these fabled lamas a if possible learn their secrets. Years later he returns youthful and full of vigor.

The knowledge he learnt are contained in the Five Tibetan Rite.

There is much historical debate about these practices and their mysterious origin but these yoga like practices appear to predate the appearance of yoga by some 700 years with their origins in ancient tibetan medical and religious practices.

These rites are easy to practice in their entirety taking between 10 to 20 minutes a day and are a perfect way to invigorate, balance and align your body efficiently.

Over six weeks we will gradually build up strength so that we can do each of the five rites correctly.

With regular practice you will find an increase in flexibility strength and vigour as well as a deepening of you spiritual practices that comes from better balance and alignment.
